All DriveAlign tensioners are designed with patented pivot bearing that is much larger than competitive flat spring tensioners. In addition, the pivot bearing bushing is lubrication-free so it won''t attract harmful grit. A larger pivot bearing and lubrication-free bushing increases the life of the tensioner.
